Join us for an engaging interview as Catherine Nakato sits down with acclaimed American rapper, songwriter, and record producer Lupe Fiasco. Together, they will explore the dynamic landscape of hip hop, delving deep into the intersectionality of themes such as femininity, the African diaspora, dreams, and joy. Gain insights into Lupe's innovative techniques that have not only shaped his own artistry but have also inspired and influenced an entire generation of artists.

Catherine Nakato:

Catherine Nakato is a multidisciplinary creative utilizing her skills to bridging the intersectionality between the arts, technology, culture and community. Nakato has curated numerous events in the community to ignite conversation and change. With a drive for knowledge and an expansive taste for understanding how to dive into meaningful events in a fun and digestible way, she is able to host events like The Legacy Ball, Conversations with Authors, and develop her upcoming application mYouSeeEm.

In Person Attendees:

Testing: Testing is required, and you will be required to show evidence of your most recent test results upon entry. Tests will be available at the venue.  

Mask Requirements: We require all attendees to wear masks during the event.

Health Check: If you're feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, we kindly ask you to stay home and join us virtually.

Sanitization: Hand sanitizing stations will be available at the venue, along with masks and a restricted supply of COVID-19 tests. We strongly encourage you to use them as needed. 

Allergies: Refreshments will be served, please include any allergies and dietary restrictions in the provided space.
