Arts & Cultural Organizing Kickoff

Do you believe in the power of art and culture to create new economic possibilities for all people? Are you an artist or maker curious about how to create and benefit from a strong local economy? Are you tired of your cultural being underrepresented in the city of Boston? If so, let's meet! 

Join members of Boston Ujima Project's art and cultural organizing volunteer group for a kick-off where we get to know who's in the room and the assets we all bring to the table. Through facilitated exercises and conversation we will connect with one another, vision together, map resources, and brainstorms concrete ways to move forward as a group of creatives excited about the beauty and infinite possibilities that justice and liberation allow. 

The meeting is open to all Boston Ujima members and anyone interested in learning more about the intersection of art, culture-making and solidarity economies in the city of Boston (and beyond!).
