About the Ujima Good Business Alliance and Certification

Ujima is creating a Good Business Alliance (UGBA) as part of our strategy to build a community-controlled economy, which will provide support and unity for local businesses that we invest in.  Additionally, we are creating a “Good Business Certification” to ensure that business members of the Ujima network reflect the values and goals of the broader community. We are currently in a process to collectively set Ujima Good Business Standards! These standards will help us grow a community economy that reflects our values around wages, inclusivity, how workers are treated, and more. 

Participate in setting our business standards by filling out one or many of the surveys below! This opportunity will be open through July 2018.

Your responses to this form will help shape the creation and implementation of the Ujima business standards,  guided by the newly elected Community Standards Committee to determine. Your responses will help determine: Which criteria should be required by any businesses that receives Ujima support?
