Description

The Boston Ujima Project cordially invites you to join us for our next Black On Black Investing Workshop: Futures, Funds and Options Workshop on Friday November 13th at 4PM.

Black on Black Investing is a workshop series geared towards conversation, financial education and expanding our notions of investment and wealth.

In our first session, we discussed the ways we already invest in ourselves, our communities, Black trust and afrofuturism through individual and community investment.

On Friday, we’ll begin with a roundtable, guided by local Black investors Imari Paris Jeffries, Rahn Dorsey, Joyce Clark and Ed Gaskin.

Then, we’ll be joined by Nwamaka Agbo, a Restorative Economics practitioner who recently became the CEO of the Kataly Foundation

The Kataly Foundation moves resources to support the economic, political, and cultural power of Black & Indigenous communities, & all communities of color. They are "working toward a world in which Black and brown people have the resources, power, and agency to execute their own visions for justice, well-being, and shared prosperity within their communities."

Read more about Nwamaka and Kataly in her introduction of the foundation here.

You can register online, then share this event on Facebook .

We hope you can make it!

Cheers,
